Vanished Village of Destiny, painted as the cover of the new book, Journey of Promise, West From Sempringham, by Charles W. Allen.

Vanished Village of Destiny is a painting of how Sempringham, Lincolnshire, England might have looked in the 1620s. It is the site where the Massachusetts Bay Company was formed that, in 1630, became the Massachusetts Bay Colony in America. Nothing remains of the village today except the ancient St. Andrew church that stands as a lone sentinel to a site of central importance to the founding of the United States.
