Heber C. Kimball Home

This painting portrays the Heber C. Kimball Home located in Nauvoo, with the Nauvoo Temple present in the background and the Farr Home in the lower right. Before building this beautiful brick home in 1845, Heber C. Kimball and his family lived in a small log and brick home on the back of their property. Five months after moving into their new home, the family had to abandon it because of mob violence and head west with the saints.
