This painting portrays the historic Israel Barlow home in Bountiful, Utah. Born in 1806 and baptized in 1832, Israel Barlow was a member of Zion’s Camp, served as a missionary in England, and was an original member of the Quorum of the Seventy. His quiet, steadfast, and unwavering service to the Lord throughout his lifetime is a wonderful example of so many of the early Latter-Day Saint pioneers. The home was torn down recently.
