The summer after Al graduated in 1977 from the U, he headed out everyday to find new subject matters. On one of those trips up Bingham Canyon he stumbled upon Lark AG, which was a grocery store. Because of those location paintings he was able to preserve what was left of the city. The city of Lark closed within a short time of Al completing this painting.
